At Bilingual Child Care & Education Center, we are dedicated to providing high-quality Spanish Immersion Programs for Children that support their positive development in a rich, culturally immersive environment. Every fall, we host our highly anticipated event, “Raising a Bilingual Child,” exclusively for parents enrolled in our Spanish Immersion Child Care programs. This event offers parents an opportunity to meet one another, introduce themselves, and share their goals for raising bilingual children. Whether you’re new to Spanish immersion or already dedicated to it, this gathering provides invaluable strategies for incorporating Spanish into your family’s daily routine.
We also cover research-backed approaches to achieving natural bilingualism in children and explore pathways for continuing Spanish immersion education into kindergarten and beyond. Our goal is to empower parents with the tools and knowledge to make bilingualism a seamless part of their child’s development.
Of course, the event isn’t just educational—it’s also a lot of fun! We share a collection of Spanish children’s songs we sing with the kids, hold a raffle for bilingual books and educational items, and enjoy delicious snacks and refreshments together. This is a perfect time for new parents to get to know our community and establish friendships that often last a lifetime.
